Clayton County is located south of Atlanta and contains seven cities, College Park, Forest Park, Jonesboro, Lake City, Lovejoy, Morrow, and Riverdale. With more than 40 different language groups, Clayton County has a diverse population. However the backdrop is traditional southern and the city of Jonesboro offers several ante-bellum homes.

Located less than a half an hour from Atlanta, Clayton County is considered a transportation hub for Georgia. It is home to Hartsfield International Airport , and is a motor freight center of metropolitan Atlanta.
