Buford
Buford is a fast growing small town located in the northernmost area of the county on Lake Lanier. Population of Buford is 9,250. Shopping is convenient with several strip shopping centers.
Buford was once a place of summer cottages and residents who wanted country living. However today Buford's housing market is changing so dramatically that new homes are far more readily available than resales. Housing prices range from $99,000 to $350,000 with the biggest inventory between $99,000 to $150,000. The styles of homes are mainly ranches and spilt levels.
Buford is has its own school system the serves about 1,925 students and has three schools. Buford school system focuses on "personalized service" with small class sizes.
Dacula
Dacula was once a small community where everybody knew everybody else. However with the completion of highway 316 and easy access to I-85 and the south, Dacula is rapidly changing.
Dacula was once an area devoted almost solely to agriculture. Today Dacula has many new home communities popping up. The styles of these homes vary from rustic, to traditionals and Victorians. Duluth
Duluth is an affluent, growing community with population of 18,513. It is conveniently located and is only 20 minutes to Atlanta, 30 minutes to Lake Lanier.

Lawrenceville
Lawrenceville is the county seat and has a population of 19,401. It is a quaint town with a charming square that is lined with shops housed in Victorian buildings.
Throughout Lawrenceville homes are arranged on gently rolling land with large trees. Homes are mostly single family frame or brick traditional with one or two stories. Prices range from $100,000 to $500,000. However a good selection can be found between $125,000 to $160,000.
Resident's can enjoy a recreation center with a pool, eight lighted tennis courts, and two private golf courses.
Lilburn
Lilburn is a small town with country charm and has a population of 10,890. It is conveniently located close to shopping at Northlake Mall and Gwinnett Place Mall.

Nocross
Norcross is the county's second oldest city with a population of 6,474. Much of the downtown area built between 1895 and 1920, and the residential area dating back to 1835 have been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. However, Norcross is experience old with the new. Peachtree Corners is an industrial park, which looks like a college campus and is becoming home to ultra modern high tech firms. High tech firms such as Hayes Micro-Computer Products, Scientific-Atlanta, Texas Instruments, AT&T Research Laboratories, as well as many others are located in Peachtree Corners.
Prices of homes vary by the age and location. Older homes range from $85,000 to $185,000. Newer homes built in the last 3 - 5 years, range from$300,000 to $750,000. Historical homes range from$250,000 to $450,000. In addition condominiums and townhouses are available from the high $90,000's to mid $170,000's.
Snellville
Snellville is a lovely community with population of 15,103. The community has the county's only private hospital. In addition it has eight shopping centers within the city limits.
Several styles of homes and price ranges are available in Snellville. Prices range from $98,000 to $500,000. However you can find many homes in the $120,000 to $200,000 price range. Homes in the higher price ranges tend to be on estate size lots and acreage.

Suwanee
Suwanee is an excellent community with population of 5,981. It hosts the Atlanta Falcon training camp each spring.
Suwanee is a great place for young families or those who desire more house for the money. Three and four-bedroom homes are available from $149,000 to $350,000. There are several lower priced homes and homes on half-acre lots priced from $149,000 to $225,000.
