Buford is a fast growing small town located in the northernmost area of the county on Lake Lanier. Population of Buford is 9,250. Shopping is convenient with several strip shopping centers.

Buford was once a place of summer cottages and residents who wanted country living. However today Buford's housing market is changing so dramatically that new homes are far more readily available than resales.
