McDonough is the county seat for Henry County. It is rich in history with its downtown dotted with charming historic buildings that are being restored. Many of the historical homes in the residential areas are also being restored. You can find Antebellum homes standing alongside traditional homes.

In the suburbs you can find expansive subdivisions co-existing with orchards, farms and rural homes. Home prices generally range from $90,000 to $200,000.

Stockbridge is the second largest town in Henry County. It has long been dominated by the rail system. Growth has been predominantly in the area from the rail tracks to the major intersection on I-75 and I-675.

Housing developments have been popping up at a record pace. There is a wide selection of affordable housing with prices ranging from $80,000 to $250,000.
