Ansley Park

Ansley Park Ansley Park is one of the finest and prestigious neighborhoods in the area. It is located between Piedmont Road and Peachtree. Since it is within walking distance to the Arts Center, many young professionals and native Atlantans favor it.

Exquisite homes are located on beautiful shaded streets. Lots are hilly and heavily wooded. Styles or homes tend to vary however traditional Georgian and tudor are very predominate. Prices of homes range from $200,000 to $1,500,000.

Residents enjoy various recreational activities at Piedmont Park, smaller parks, two private clubs, the Ansley Park Golf club and the Piedmont Driving Club

Grant Park

Grant Park Grant Park is one of Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods. It is home Atlanta Zoo and the Cyclorama. This area is experiencing renewed interest due to many large corporations relocating to the downtown area.

Home styles are mainly frame bungalows. However streets near the park are lined with restored Victorian houses. Prices of homes range from $75,000 to $250,000.

There are three very active community associations in Grant Park.

Inman Park

Inman Park Inman Park was Atlanta's first planned community. Also it was once on Atlanta's first trolley line. It was formed to transport the affluent residents to their downtown offices. Today Inman Park is a popular residential neighborhood located next to the Little Five Points area.

Homes in Inman Park are mostly Victorians however you can find brick bungalows or brick structures. A restored Victorian can exceed $300,000 and a unrestored bungalow can be found priced in the low $100,000's.

There are several neighborhood activities and recreational facilities available for residents.

Morningside

Morningside Morningside is diverse community only minutes from downtown. It is located around Piedmont Road at Monroe Drive. There is an interesting blend of cultures and ages in Morningside.

Morningside is known for its small well kept Tudor and Jacobean revival homes. Most homes range in price between $200,000 and $400,000.

Morningside has a very active association that sponsors festivals, crime prevention, block parties and other activities.

Virginia Highlands

Virginia Highlands Virginia Highlands is "in" place to live in Atlanta. It is also the place to "see and be seen". The community is located on a few quiet blocks around the intersection of Virginia and North Highland Avenues. Recently Virginia Highland has added small arts or antique shops, restaurants, bookstores, and sidewalk cafes.

Virginia Highlands has well-kept bungalows and Tudor-style cottages built in the 1920' and 1930's. Many feature hardwood floors, carved moldings and large fireplaces. Home prices range from $200,000 to $400,000 and up.
